were some who replied but couldn't quite stick to the subject A favourite tactic of those who are unclear of their own point of view. If they cannot hold their attention on your concerns, are you sure they have your best interests at heart? |

This is the normal situation. Expect to see traffic snarled up, long queues, buses unable to approach or depart from the bus stands easily.<<We will bring you these pictures as soon as the covers come off, and the whole of Watford jams up again.>>New road markings You didn't really expect they would be turned on again before June 10th elections did you? |
One
way traffic Various Councillors at both Borough and County level prefer to keep quiet. They know that the current approach is failing and that they become "tainted" by that failure if they are seen to be too close to unpopular measures. The consequence of electing this type of politician is that very poor plans and decisions are made. Make sure its you who tells your politician what your view is, and not the other way round. |

Sign of the weekSend in your pictures of wonky signs and you might win our special prize of a self-supporting uncontrolled crossing sign.Rules: Signs can be located anywhere in and around Watford, but you are not allowed to have smashed them up yourself.

Traffic Light of the WeekOnce again Traffic Light of the Week has been won by Niff. This is his second project for the West Herts College distance learning course of Traffic Light Construction. Niff believes he can see "little green men" now, which perhaps shows how hard he has been studying. The whole piece is entitled "Sunset on the whole traffic management fiasco".Rules: Traffic Lights must be located in the Central Green Zone. You do not have to make your own lights to enter, but more weight is given to Watford citizens who are home traffic light constructors. |
